A symbol for all Humanity

"When I first began designing the Project HUMANITY - FROM THE DARK TO THE LIGHT logo symbol, I began to study for inspiration early cave man drawings from East Africa where homo-sapien first emerged on earth some 200,000 years ago.

Specifically designed to be a non-political and non-religious symbol, the open armed figure
embraces a world encircled with wisdom, enlightenment, and diversity.

The hope and inspiration for education, and the vision to take action are represented by the
five radiating lines from the figures head symbolizing the five senses and continents of the world. In today's world of instant communication, it will be up to us to use our senses as the stepping stones for building greater bridges of tolerance and understanding worldwide.

The outstretched arms and legs of the figure touch all four corners of the globe creating a ripple effect for change, whilst the metamorphic wings of the butterfly symbolize the actions of
humankind to peacefully eradicate ignorance in all its forms for a more accepting world."
